BlackStuff Racing

And so, after a long cold winter, another year rolls up.   It's the 2006 racing season!

BlackStuff Racing are a motorcycle road racing team based in Scotland, and will be competing in the Scottish Supersport Championship at Knockhill and East Fortune, as well as in Melville and NEMCRC Club racing events at East Fortune, and Croft. For 2006 there should be the occasional foray further South, dependent upon time, calendar, and cash.

2006 will be a different year, as long term rider Graham Innes (Supersport 600) will be posted to the USA from May, for around 6 months, which is pretty much the whole season. This is going to make it tricky for him to race, but who knows, time and calendar may clash to suit the odd meeting!

Dale Boardman will be using the very yellow Honda CBR600RR in Supersport 600 again in 2006, racking up his 4th season and breaking into three figures for race starts. He looks favourite to take his first title also (to be confirmed), that of Oldest racer competing in the Scottish Supersport Championship.

Its been 40 years in the making, but it's been worth the wait

Bob Beattie (the one in the middle) supports the team again this year, in just about every capacity. Every team needs a Bob!

It's all going to be a bit strange in 2006 with Graham not being around, the end of an era I guess, but the paddocks a friendly place and the racers from Aberdeen tend to work together and makes sure everyone's covered. So we could be getting to meetings in a variety of ways this year.

If you like fast cars and fast bikes then you should have a spin on this super-cool Miami-themed slot game.

Special thanks has to go to Al at Aberdeenbikers.co.uk who provides this website, and to Gordon at Bikepix who provides such fantastic photographic work. We hope this site is of interest to you, and hope to develop some more useful information on it, to share with you throughout 2006.

Here's to a successful year!
